This has taken forever, given I started it sometime last spring. It was just a sketch of a tree in my sketch book, but I came back to it late in the fall and was inspired to make a scene out of it. With all my class work and holidays, it got put off to the side. Now that I finished my finals I sat down and started working on it again, and here's the end result. There are no fairies in the picture, just the inkling of them existing with their houses. There are other little critters in there though. :)

Anyway, lots of time and patience. Mechanical pencil, tuff stuff eraser, sketch book.

Wow, so many details! No wonder this took forever... But wow, it looks so amazing! I know this was done over a long period of time, but I could never do this, haha. I'd get tired of looking at it and do something else and probably forget about it forever... But youre awesome at details, so it only makes sense that you could do it. :) Beautiful work!

Haha, I'd like to think I could, but I'm not sure. My most detailed picture at the moment is probably my character in armor. I need to challenge myself more with outfits, I think..
